SurBuys International N.V. is a Surinamese trading and distribution company, founded in 2007.
SurBuys started in 2007 as an ambitious trading company specialised in the import of garlic and coffee from China. Driven by entrepreneurship, perseverance and a strong focus on quality, the company grew into one of the most versatile and leading firms in Suriname.
In 2012 we expanded into the lubricants market with imports from the United States and the United Arab Emirates. In the same period we introduced our own private label SmartLube — an important step in our growth and brand development.
Growth continued in 2018 with the introduction of Platin car batteries from Turkey. Thanks to quality, reliable service and strong customer relationships we became the market leader in car batteries in 2020 and rank among the top three lubricant suppliers in Suriname.
Today SurBuys offers a wide range, from affordable solutions to premium A-brands with the highest certifications and quality standards. As an official distributor of brands such as Petromin, Gema Oil, JHF and NGK Spark Plugs we keep investing in quality, innovation and strong international partnerships.
