GEAR OIL SAE 85W- 140 API GL-4

Darter 85W-140 GL-4 is engineered for performance in heavy duty commercial transmissions and final drives where extreme pressures and shock loading are expected, it provides excellent chemical and thermal stability at elevated bulk oil temperatures, good performance at low/high temperature and has demonstrated good rust protection resulting from water contamination and wet conditions.

Applications: Heavy duty manual transmissions, axles and final drives requiring API GL-4 and MT-1 level performance. On- high light and heavy duty trucks, buses vans and cars. Off- highway industries including: construction, mining, quarrying and agriculture. Other heavy duty industrial, automotive applications involving hypoid and other gears operating under conditions where high speed/ shock load, high speed/low torque and or low speed/high torque conditions prevail. Not intended for transmission for which engine oil or automatic transmission fluids are recommended.
